Overview: Tom Brown cannot persuade his wife to go calling with him. Mr. Jones an intimate friend is disappointed at not finding Brown home and invites the latter's wife to take a sail with him. She accepts his kind invitation. Brown has an enjoyable afternoon and just as he is about to return home meets Mrs. Jones who has missed the last boat to the resort hotel. He obligingly consents to take her home. Can you imagine the discomfort of all parties mentioned when a terrible rainstorm comes up and they are forced to land on an island?
